I have been meaning to post this recipe for so long. I recently actually changed up the ingredients of the dressing and I feel like I have finally perfected it! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!


  • 1lb raw shrimp peeled
  • 2-3 cups of butter leaf lettuce, I prefer butter leaf with this recipe because it gives it a good crunch! (sub any other lettuce)
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 large red pepper
  • 3 diced green onions
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • a pinch of salt and pepper


  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 large orange juiced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic


  1. peel the shrimp and season with salt and pepper
  2. grill or cook the shrimp on a skillet until done
  3. in a large bowl put together lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, onions, peppers and avocado
  4. top with cooked shrimp
  5. toss salad dressing in!
  6. ENJOY!
